David Harber
David Harber makes stunning hand-crafted sundials, water features and garden sculpture.
The company has recently rebranded, to reflect its expanding sales to corporate clients, and its expansion into water features and garden sculpture as well as sundials.
The website redesign reflects the change - an impressive elegant brochure-style site, with stunning photographs by Tim Mercer of Mercer Design.
The site was already successful in the search engines for a broad range of searches (see our search engine optimisation page). The transition to the new site was carefully managed, and David Harber is now doing even better in the search engines than before.
Images of the company's previous website, also designed by DesignForProfit, are on show on our Offline Sites page. |

Bradbury's of Exeter
Bradbury's is a sizeable supplier of German kitchens and bedrooms to consumer and contract customers in the South West of England, but their website in no way reflected the company's size, standing or excellence.
The shiny new website does justice to the technological excellence of the company's products and to the efficiency of the Bradbury's itself .
DesignForProfit also created a newsletter management system for Bradbury's. |

The Drummonds website won a Sapling commendation for its “neat and classy appearance”

Drummonds
Well known as one of the largest suppliers of architectural antiques in Europe, Drummonds now manufactures classic bathroom and door furniture as well.
Drummonds new website reflects the change and also the Drummonds' motto: classic handmade quality. A straightforward elegant and distinctly classy design does justice to the luxurious items on display without losing touch with the company's history.
All 300 pages of the site are easily editable by Drummonds' staff through a custom built and user-friendly content management system.
The transition to a new website had to be meticulously managed to ensure that search engine rankings — built up by
DesignForProfit over the last three years — were maintained (see search engine optimisation for details). |

County Marquees
planner County
Marquees wanted an application that would set them apart from rival marquee
companies and provide real functionality for customers.
DesignForProfit came up
with the planner: customers choose a marquee size, select furniture and then drag
items about to enable them to assess the best layout for their marquee.
To maximize user accessibility, County Marquees chose to have the planner as both a Macromedia Flash animation, and as a pure HTML version.
Both versions are very simple to use and have proved wildly popular with County Marquees'
customers.
What is more, both planner engines are adaptable to other functions — room planner, garden planner. Whatever would suit. |
